Peninsula Mountain and Cave Rescue Association is the regional body of Mountain Rescue (England & Wales) for all the voluntary Search and Rescue Teams of the South West Peninsula, covering Cornwall, Devon and part of Somerset.

These teams provide manpower with specialised skills to respond to calls from the Police and Ambulance services when assistance is required by members of the public who are lost, injured or at risk, particularly those in remote places.

PenMaCRA was established to develop further the co-operation and joint training of the member teams who provide these specialist search and rescue capabilities and also to represent them at national meetings of Mountain Rescue (England & Wales).
